Fred Terry, "The Singing Beekeeper", is a longtime Oracle resident and local favorite singer and songwriter. Fluent in Spanish, Fred frequently entertains children in classrooms around southern Arizona. Look for his tapes in local stores.
Sal Valdivia has been performing all over Arizona, from the Grand Canyon to Nogales, for over 15 years. He appeals to all ages, with an eclectic folksy style grounded in traditional country, folk, and blues melodies. Sal lives in Oracle.
The Tortolita GutPluckers, "Tucson's oldest, least-known bluegrass band", finished off the day with a rousing blend of old-time and "brown-thorn" style bluegrass music.
